Zaida Rosa Perez-Colon Obituary (1956

Agawam~ Zaida Rosa Perez-Colon, 58, passed away on August 18, 2014. Zaida was born in Puerto Rico on April 1, 1956 to the late Santos Perez and Maria Asunscion Colon. Zaida was also predeceased by her husband, Carlos Quinones and her son, Arnaldo Esteras. She leaves to cherish her memory: her 2 sons, Dennis A. Esteras and Carlos Quinones; a daughter, Yaira Miranda-Colon; 3 step-daughters, Marisol, Wanda and Diana Quinonez; 3 brothers, Jorge, Miguel and Eliezer Perez; and a sister, Noemi Ramos. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren: Rafael Mendrel, Yamarie Mendrel, Dennis Esteras, Jr., Sofia Esteras, Alejandro Esteras and Juan Carlos Quinones. She will be greatly missed. The Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 21, from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. at Puerta Del Cielo(r) Funeral Home, 730 State St., followed by a Mass at 10 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church. The Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. The Calling Hours will be held on Wednesday, August 20, from 6 - 8 p.m. at 730 State St.
