Wilfredo Olivo

–

Springfield, Massachusetts

It is with a heart full of love and eyes filled with cherished memories that I, Carmen, share the passing of my courageous brother, Wilfredo Olivo. Born on June 10, 1966, in Brooklyn, New York, Wilfredo embodied the spirit of resilience and the inherent desire to live life to the fullest. He was a beacon of strength, a testament to the human spirit's unyielding tenacity. Despite the challenges life threw at him, Wilfredo remained steadfast, demonstrating an unparalleled zest for life. His unwavering desire to walk again was an inspiration to all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Wilfredo found joy in his work at the manufactory, where he was more than just an employee; he was a treasured member of a community that admired his dedication and courage. He made his home in Springfield, Massachusetts, where his life's journey ended on January 12, 2026. He leaves behind his loving father, Luis Olivo, and me, his sister, Carmen. We will forever remember Wilfredo with love and admiration, carrying his legacy forward. He now joins our mother, Carmen, in eternal rest. As the poet Rabindranath Tagore once wrote, "Death is not extinguishing the light; it is only putting out the lamp because the dawn has come."

We invite friends and family to share their memories and upload photos of Wilfredo to his memorial page. Your stories and pictures will serve as a comforting reminder of the remarkable man he was, a man who lived his life courageously, inspiring all of us to do the same.
