Toni Lind Colon

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Toni Lind Colon, a loving, smart, supportive, and inspiring woman who touched many lives with her charisma and warmth. Born on September 17, 1970, in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, Toni was a beacon of light, courage, and love. She was also known to many as Toni Lind Rivera. Her journey on this earth ended on April 5, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, determination, and inspiration.

Toni, a woman of many talents and ambitions, never ceased to amaze those around her. Despite never having formal employment, her thirst for knowledge was insatiable. Toni earned degrees and certifications in paralegal studies, nursing, and culinary arts, demonstrating her intelligence and versatility. She was a testament to the quote, "The capacity to learn is a gift; the ability to learn is a skill; the willingness to learn is a choice." Toni chose to learn, to grow, and to excel. In her kitchen, she found joy and satisfaction, often cooking delectable meals and desserts that would bring her family together in a celebration of love and togetherness.

Family meant everything to Toni. She was a stalwart supporter of her loved ones, always encouraging them to chase their dreams, no matter how small or grand. Her wisdom and love extended to her pets, whom she considered an integral part of her family. She is survived by her children Juan Colon, Analia Colon, and Jeannie Jimenez, who will forever cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Anicasia Rivera.

As we remember Toni Lind Colon, let us not dwell on her departure but celebrate her life and the love she bestowed upon us. She personified the quote, "In the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years." A Memorial Service will be held to honor Toni on Friday, April 19, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at Puerta Del Cielo® Funeral Home, 730 State Street, Springfield, MA.
