Teresa Jose-Alonzo

Born on October 15, 1928, in the beautiful town of Río San Juan, Dominican Republic, Teresa Jose-Alonzo dedicated much of her life to being a homemaker, caring for her family and creating a home filled with love, warmth, and tradition. In the Dominican Republic, she lovingly nurtured her children and family, tending to her home and garden with devotion. Her hands cultivated fruits and vegetables, while her heart cultivated kindness, strength, and unconditional love. Her home was a place of comfort and generosity, where family bonds grew strong and cherished memories were made.

Teresa's life reflected the beauty of a woman whose greatest accomplishment was the love she gave and the family she raised. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her children to the animals she adored and everyone fortunate enough to know her. Through her humility, resilience, and compassion, she left a lasting legacy that will live on in the hearts of generations to come.

Teresa is survived by her beloved daughter, Eduvigies Encarnación, and her son-in-law, Elio Encarnación, along with many other cherished family members and loved ones who will forever treasure her memory.

A viewing will take place on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, at Puerta Del Cielo® Funeral Home, 730 State Street, Springfield, MA.

Nacida el 15 de Octubre de 1928, en el hermoso municipio de Río San Juan, República Dominicana, Teresa Jose-Alonzo dedicó gran parte de su vida al hogar, cuidando de su familia y creando un ambiente lleno de amor, calidez y tradición. En la República Dominicana, crió con esmero a sus hijos y a su familia, atendiendo su hogar y su jardín con devoción. Sus manos cultivaban frutas y vegetales, mientras que su corazón cultivaba bondad, fortaleza y un amor incondicional. Su hogar fue un refugio de bienestar y generosidad, donde los lazos familiares se fortalecieron y se crearon recuerdos entrañables.

La vida de Teresa reflejó la belleza de una mujer cuyo mayor logro fue el amor que brindó y la familia que formó. Su espíritu bondadoso y protector se extendió más allá de sus hijos, alcanzando a los animales que tanto adoraba y a todas las personas que tuvieron la fortuna de conocerla. A Teresa le sobreviven su amada hija, Eduvigies Encarnación, y su yerno, Elio Encarnación, junto con muchos otros familiares y seres queridos que atesorarán su recuerdo para siempre.

El velatorio es el Sábado 31 de Octubre de 2026, de 12:00 PM a 3:00 PM., en la Funeraria Puerta Del Cielo®, ubicada en 730 State Street, Springfield, Massachusetts.
