In Loving Memory of Teresa Feliciano
May 23, 1932 – October 4, 2026

Teresa Feliciano, lovingly known to her family as Mami and Mama, was born on May 23, 1932, in Guayanilla, Puerto Rico, to her beloved parents, Leonor and Delfin Feliciano.

Teresa was a woman whose life was defined by love, faith, sacrifice, and devotion to her family. After a brief residence during her twenties, in Guayanilla Puerto Rico, Teresa moved to Springfield, Massachusetts, with the hope of creating a better life and brighter future for her children. In her younger years, she worked in the tobacco fields, working hard to provide for those she loved. She devoted herself wholeheartedly to her family and was a loving and devoted mother who placed her children’s well-being above all else.
Teresa’s legacy lives on through her four children: Aileen, Maria Del Carmen, Oscar, and Milton, who will forever carry her love and memory in their hearts. In her later years, Teresa was lovingly cared for by her primary caregivers, Caroline Arroyo-Pagan and Aileen Vazquez-Perez, who provided her with extraordinary tenderness, patience, and unconditional love. She also leaves behind seven cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous great-great grandchildren who will forever treasure her memory and carry her love in their hearts. Their devotion and care brought comfort and dignity to Teresa throughout her journey, and their love for her will always remain a beautiful part of her story.
Teresa’s faith was the foundation of her life. For more than 50 years, she was a faithful member of Springfield Christian Church, where she worshiped, prayed, and grew in her relationship with God. Her faith was not simply something she practiced, it was woven into who she was and how she lived. One of Teresa’s most cherished daily routines was her quiet morning time with God. She would prepare her decaffeinated coffee, settle into her morning, and spend time in prayer to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These peaceful moments were precious to her and reflected the deep faith she carried in her heart. She also adored Christian music, finding comfort, joy, and peace in songs of worship and praise.
Teresa’s life was not measured only by the years she lived, but by the love she gave, the sacrifices she made, the prayers she offered, and the lives she touched. She was a strong woman who endured challenges with faith and perseverance, always holding close the people she loved.
Although our hearts are heavy with her passing, we find comfort in knowing that Teresa is no longer suffering and that her earthly journey has come to an end. She is now home with God, resting peacefully in the loving presence of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Until we meet again in Heaven, you will forever remain in our hearts.
