Tanzil I. Amiss, age 49 of 44 Hawthorne Street, Springfield MA departed this life on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. Tanzil was born in Springfield on April 29, 1968 to the late Wilbert Amiss and Jean (Jones) Amiss. He is survived his two sons, Tanzil D. Amiss of West Springfield MA and Tavon Amiss of Springfield Ma.; his brother, Reginald Amiss of Springfield, MA; three sisters, Tina Gholston and her husband Ollie of Canton, Ohio, Devonna Hall and her husband Torrey of Simsbury, CT and Zakiyyah Amiss of Atlanta, GA, along with two grandchildren, seven nieces, one nephew and many friends and family. Calling Hours will be on Monday, February 26, 2018 from 9:00am-11:00am at Puerta Del Cielo Funeral Home, 730 State Street, Springfield, MA 01109, followed by a burial in Oak Grove Cemetery 426 Bay Street, Springfield, MA.
