Springfield- Sonia N. Fernandez, 49, died May 4th, 2012 in her apartment. She was born on February 28, 1963 in Caguas, Puerto Rico. The daughter of Josefina Pereira and Juan Fernandez. She was the 2nd born of 3 sisters, Evelyn Texidor and Lourdes Figueroa. She worked for Springfield House. Sonia is survived by her daughter, Elidex; mother, Josefina; her sisters, Evelyn and Lourdes; her nieces and nephews, Jessica, Yeida, Bobby and JonJon. The Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 10, from 6 - 8 p.m. at Puerta Del Cielo(r) Funeral Home, 730 State St., Springfield. Sonia Fernandez le gustaba la musica espcialmente la salsa.
