Saturnino Garcia Delgado Obituary (1938 - 2024)

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of a pillar of strength, a beacon of wisdom, and a loving father, Saturnino Garcia Delgado. Born on December 2, 1938, in the vibrant city of Carolina, Puerto Rico, Saturnino, affectionately known as "Nino," lived an exceptional life filled with love, adventure, and a deep commitment to his family. His life was a testament to his unyielding faith, his dedication to his work, and his passion for life's simple pleasures. Saturnino found joy in the rhythm of life, his hobbies of music and reading reflecting his vibrant personality and deep intellect. With an uncanny knack for fixing anything that came his way, he was the neighborhood's go-to handyman, a role he embraced with grace and good humor. His career in maintenance at Caribe Management was marked by steadfast dedication, and even in retirement, Saturnino was never one to shy away from a challenge. His tireless work ethic was matched only by his boundless love for his family, with whom he shared his wisdom, laughter, and an unwavering sense of support. Saturnino, a devout Catholic, lived by the verse from the book of Corinthians, "So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love." This verse was the cornerstone of his life, guiding his actions in work, play, and relationships. He leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth, remembered by his devoted daughter’s Karen Gardiner, Katherine Garcia, Kary Ann Negron, Karry Lynn Negron and Keicha Marie Garcia Negron, Maria Garcia (Tata); his Sons Kenneth Garcia Negron and Junior Garcia and his 15 grandchildren and his great grandchildren, his Sister and all his beloved family and friends a community that loved him dearly. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Judith B. Negron, his father, Guillermo Garcia, and his mother, Belen Delgado.
