Rosa Rosado

On Friday, August 23, 2024, Rosa Rosado passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends.

Rosa was born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, to Rita Ortiz and Thomas Cruz. She came to the United States and settled in Springfield, Massachusetts; where she worked and raised a family. Rosa Rosado dedicated 33 years of her life working diligently for Milton Bradley in which she endlessly provided for her family.

She is survived by her two children: Ruth Roldan and Miguel A. Roldan. And held dearly to her heart, Daisy Roldan, her daughter-in-law. She is lovingly remembered by her three grandchildren: Michael A. Roldan, Giovanni Roldan, and Nikita Forestier, and two great grand-children: Maximus and Milo Roldan.

Rosa met and fell in love with German Rosado. They were married on August 16, 1985. Their marriage created a loving, blended family with boundless love. This union was blessed with Five Children: Ivia, Alberto, Diana, Iris and Lourdes, their spouses, Eight Grandchildren and Eight Great- Grandchildren. Rosa’s favorite pastimes were doting on and traveling with her husband and spending time with all of her family.

Services will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024, from 12:00-2:00 p.m., at Puerta Del Cielo® Funeral Home, 730 State Street, Springfield, MA, followed by her burial at Springfield Cemetery, 171 Maple Street, Springfield, MA.
