Raquel Rodriguez Obituary (1946 - 2013) - Springfield, Massachusetts

Raquel Rodriguez was born in Cayey, Puerto Rico on April 30th, 1946, passed away December 4th, 2013, to dwell with the Lord. Wife of Juan B. Rodriguez, Sr. for 51 years. Mother of two sons, Jose E. Rodriguez and Juan B. Rodriguez, Jr. She left behind 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was very loved by family and her congregation and beloved husband which was her pastor of the New Jerusalem Baptist Church. She will be dearly missed by her nieces and nephews and daughters-in-law. She was a great peer of the church, and also a woman of great faith and prayer. She was an example to all of those who knew her, when in her illness, she was an example to all who knew her with her faith. She will be greatly missed by everyone whose life she touched. The Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 7, from 9 - 10 a.m. at Puerta Del Cielo(r) Funeral Home, 730 State St., followed by Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. The Calling Hours will be held on Friday, December 6, from 9 - 10 a.m. at 730 State St.
