Springfield- Rafael Duran, 73, passed away Thurs., Mar. 18, at Baystate Medical Center. Born in the Dominican Republic, on July 9, 1936. He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Elsa M. (Marte) Duran of Springfield; a son, Jose R.; 5 daughters, Maria, Carmen, Elsa A., Mayra and Radhaysis; 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. The Funeral Services will be held on Mon., Mar. 22, from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. at Puerta Del Cielo(r) Funeral Home followed a Mass at St. Michael's Cathedral at 10 a.m. The Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Sun., Mar. 21, from 3 - 7 p.m.
