Otilia Martinez

Otilia Martinez (Colon), 89, departed this life and went with the lord Saturday ,September 8th, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Otilia was born in Coamo,Puerto Rico on September 10, 1928 to her parents Dionisio and Cristina Colon. Otilia and her husband Isabel established residency in Springfield Ma in the late 1960's . Otilia became a farm worker in a tobacco field for many years . She enjoyed cooking , spending time with her family and attending church . A mother to; Felix, Juan , Primitivo, Ana, Priscilla , Isabelo Jr. ,and Geraldo. Otilia was pre-deceased by her son Gilberto Martinez and her son Hector Marrero. A wonderful grandmother to; Alexie, Betsy , Rafael, Janice, Lequisha, Isacc, Angel , Geraldo Jr., Migdalia, Jebron, Jenus and Ariana. A great grandmother to; SashaLee, Damian, Priscilla, Christopher, Xavier, Eliud Jr., Makayla , Angelys, Zanyannie and Alani. A great great grandmother to Serenity Otilia. She leaves behind two daughter in laws Jacqueline and Carmen. Otilia will be sadly missed by her loving family and her beloved husband of 62 years Isabelo. Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday ,September 12th, 6pm-8pm and Thursday, September 13th, 9am-10am at Puerta Del Cielo 730 State Street Springfield, Ma 01109, followed by a burial at Oak Grove Cemetery
