Norman W. Mackinnon

Hampden- Norman W. MacKinnon, 76, of Hampden, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center. He leaves behind his wife of 33 years, Patricia MacKinnon, his son from a previous marriage, Norman MacKinnon, his step-son, Bill Lambert and his wife, Kellie Lambert, his step-daughter, Teri Lafleur and her husband, Wayne Lafleur, a sister, Jean Myers of Texico, NM and a brother, Don MacKinnon. He is predeceased by his mother, Anita Schmidt and step-father, Edward Schmidt. He also leaves 3 grandchildren who will miss him dearly; Kyle, Brendan and Shannon, as well as his beloved cat 'mittens'. Norm retired from Treasure Chest in East Longmeadow where he worked for over 20 years. Previously, he worked at Titeflex in Springfield, MA. Norm's hobbies included playing video games and spending time with his family. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 30, at 11 a.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, 361 Sumner Ave., Springfield, MA.
