Noe E. Martin

–

Springfield, Massachusetts

Hello, it's me, Noe E. Martin, also known as Leche. I am writing from beyond the veil to celebrate my life and to let you know that I am at peace after my journey concluded on April 2, 2025. I was born in the beautiful city of Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico on November 4, 1969, and later made my home in Springfield, Massachusetts.

A funny, loving, loyal, and courageous man, I spent most of my days working in construction. The hard work appealed to my tenacious spirit. I also had a knack for cooking, and was quite proud of my culinary skills, which I considered an achievement. I was never happier than when I was surrounded by my beloved family and friends, sharing a hearty meal, and filling the room with laughter and joy. The love I had for my family was immense and unwavering. They were my world, my greatest treasure.

I am survived by my father Noe Martin-Torres, my mother Carmen Morales, my sisters Noemi and Carmen Martin, my nieces Naomi Montalvo, Noelia Ortiz, and Leonela Ortiz, my nephew David Montalvo, and my brother-in-law Pardo Ortiz. My dear uncle Ray is also still with us. I was preceded in death by my Aunt Maria Vargas and Uncle Oscar Colon. Each of these individuals held a special place in my heart, and I hope my love continues to comfort them as they navigate life without my physical presence.

Matthew 5:4, in the Catholic tradition, reassures us that "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." This comfort is not just for those I leave behind, but for me as well, knowing that I will be remembered not for my departure, but for my laughter, my love, and my loyalty.

My viewing will be held at the Puerta Del Cielo Funeral Home, 730 State Street, Springfield, Massachusetts, 01109, on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. My burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery of Springfield Inc., 426 Bay Street, Springfield, MA.

I invite you to celebrate my life by sharing your favorite memories and photographs of our time together on my memorial page. Your stories will keep my spirit alive and bring comfort to those who miss me. Let's remember the good times, the laughter, and the love. It's not goodbye, it's see you later.
