West Springfield - Miriam Mercedes Garriga, 87, departed this life on Thursday, March 31st, 2022. Miriam was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, on October 1st, 1934, to her parents Heridio Torres and Justina Garriga. Miriam was predeceased by her husband: Gregorio Velez, her parents, her Daughter: Lourdes Soler-Monzon and her Sister: Helen.

Miriam was loved by her family and she leaves to cherish her memories her Daughter: Ivet Soler, Two Brothers: Hector and Gregory, Three Sisters: Carmen, Nancy and Aida, Five Grandchildren, Ten Great Grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
