Minerva "Eufemia" Valentin Obituary (1942

Springfield- Minerva Valentin, 67, passed away April 19 at home surrounded by her loving family. Minerva was born on August 18th in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, to the late Erasmo Quinonez and Luz Gallarza. She leaves to cherish her memory: her beloved husband of many years, Jose Valentin; a son, Alesy Valentin; a daughter, Iris M. Valentin; her nieces and nephews, Virma Santiago, Iris Negron, Inez Velez, Ray Perez, Jose Quinones, Peter Quinones, Sara Rosado, Franklin Rosado, Arelene Vidal, Lissette Vida, and Veronica Velez; and her 3 sisters-in-law, Sara Valentin, Josefa Valentin, and Miriam Valentin. She is also survived by her grandkids, Daniel Jose Valentin, Hector Santiago, Erika Santiago, Ruben Negron, Marylin Tanon, Kristina Perez, Edwin Collazo, Ariel Tanon, Gaby Tanon, Amy Negron, Briana Negron, Ruben Negron, Jr., Omi Negron, Lya Hernandez, and Lito Hernandez; her aunt, Lydia Ortiz; many brothers and sisters, and many friends and relatives. She also leaves her beloved pets, Toby and Lolly. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten. The Funeral Services will be held on Wed., April 21, from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. at Puerta Del Cielo(r) Funeral Home, 730 State St., followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament. The Burial will be immediately following the Mass in Oak Grove Cemetery. The Calling Hours will be held Tues., April 20, from 6 - 8 p.m. at 730 State St.
