Maria D. Ayala

Springfield- Maria D. Ayala, 55, passed away on Oct. 20. Maria was born in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico on Apr. 7 to Higinio Ayala and Flora Cotto. She was predeceased by her father and her sister, Norma Ayala. She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Julio Cesar Rodriguez; 2 sons, Josue and Carlos Perez; a daughter, Yailine Cruz; her mother; 3 brothers, Higinio, Sebastian and Pedro Ayala; 8 sisters, Francisca, Maria Teresa, Maria Socorro, Marta Maria, Florita, Alicia, Maria Ivette and Maria Del Carmen Ayala; and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her 2 grandchildren, Michael and Gabriel Perez. The Calling Hours will be held on Thurs., Oct. 23, from 6 - 8 p.m. at Puerta Del Cielo(r) Funeral Home, 730 State St. The Funeral will be on Fri., Oct. 24, from 9 - 10 a.m. at 730 State St. followed by Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
