Luz C. Ortiz Obituary (1958

Springfield- Luz C. Ortiz, 52, passed away on Wed., Aug. 18, at home. Luz was predeceased by her father, Pedro Ortiz, her brother, Michael Alvarez, her sister, Carmen Ortiz and her nephew, Jonathan Santiago. She leaves to cherish her memory: her 2 daughters, Melissa and Michelle DeJesus; her mother, Catalina Diaz; a brother, Leonel Ortiz; 4 sisters, Magaly Ortiz, Evelyn Ortiz, Rosa Maldonado-Brown, and Maria Tevenal; her favorite niece, Jessica Garcia; and 4 grandchildren, Jayden, Shaniece, Jaime, and Precious. She will be greatly missed. The Funeral will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 25, from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. at North End Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 130 Carew St., followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in All Souls Church. The Burial will be immediately following the mass at Oak Grove Cemetery. The Calling Hours will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 24, from 6 - 8 p.m. at 130 Carew St.
