Springfield - Luis Velez, 47, passed away Thursday, July 4th, 2019 at East Longmeadow Skilled Nursing Center. Luis was born in Cayey, Puerto Rico on November 9th, 1971 to his parents Francisco Velez and Maria Negron. Luis was predeceased by Maria Negron - Mother. Luis was very much loved and he will be missed. Luis leaves to cherish his memories, his wife; Zenaida Velez, a Son; Luis Velez Jr., a Daughter; Ashley Marie Velez, 2 Stepsons; Jeffrey Alicea and Kenny Chairez, 2 Brothers; Francisco and Angel Velez, a Sister; Maria Velez, 5 Grandchildren, many family and friends. Calling Hours will be on Wednesday, July 10th, 2019 from 5:00 pm 7:00 pm at Puerta Del Cielo(r) Funeral Home 730 State Street Springfield, MA 01109, burial will be in Cemeterio Municipal de Cayey, Puerto Rico.
