Kristina Correa, a resilient soul, whose radiance reflected her humble nature and compassion, was born on July 3, 1987, in Manhattan, New York. She brought a sense of unity and love to her family, which was of utmost importance to her. Her steadfast resilience was an inspiration to all who had the privilege to know her. Her loving heart and compassionate spirit enriched the lives of those around her, making her an unforgettable presence in their lives. As a poet once said, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." This sentiment beautifully encapsulates the essence of Kristina.

Kristina resided in Springfield, Massachusetts, where she created a nurturing home filled with love and joy. She was a woman of strength who faced challenges head-on and never faltered in her commitment to her loved ones. To her sisters, Marie and Lissette Correa, she was not only a sibling but a steadfast friend, always there to lend a comforting ear or share a laugh. For her daughter, Kristianalys Martinez, she was a guiding light, always illuminating the path with love and wisdom. Her husband, Steven Martinez, found in Kristina a soulmate filled with love, compassion, and resilience. Kristina also held a special role in the lives of her nephews, Omar and Jamal Mohamed, and her niece, Dominique Mohamed, who will forever cherish her memory.

Kristina is preceded in death by her parents, Angel Correa and Maria Reyes, who instilled in her the values that she carried throughout her life. The legacy of Kristina's humble and loving spirit will continue to live on through her family and those who had the honor of knowing her.

The funeral service will be held at Puerta Del Cielo® Funeral Home, 730 State Street, Springfield, MA, on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM., followed by her burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, 426 Bay Street, Springfield, MA.
