Loving Memory of Juan Manuel Dominguez

December 9, 1991 – August 30, 2026

Juan Manuel Dominguez, affectionately known as Noni to his family and Swift to his friends, was a humble, loving, and good - hearted man whose life was defined by family, friendship, hard work, laughter, and generosity.

Born on December 9, 1991, in the town of Ciales, Puerto Rico, Juan spent much of his youth in Rochester, New York, before making his home in Springfield, Massachusetts. Wherever he lived, he left a lasting impression on the people around him. He had a warm spirit, great smile, a quick sense of humor, and a way of making even ordinary moments memorable.

Juan was, above all, a devoted father. His children were his greatest source of pride and joy. He is survived by his sons, Juan Jr. and Emmaus Dominguez, and his daughter, Marlee Scott-Smith. Juan loved each of his children deeply and cherished the time he spent with them. His greatest hope was that they would grow into strong, compassionate, and happy people. His love for them will remain a part of their lives forever.

Juan was also a beloved son, brother, and family man. He is survived by his mother, Wanda Ivette Torres, and his siblings: brothers Gabimael Bermudez and Samuel Dominguez, and sisters Pamela Martinez, Yaranis Johnson, and Sabrina Dominguez. He was also a loving uncle to five nephews, seven nieces, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins that will forever miss him. He was preceded in death by his father, Juan Dominguez Amezaga, and his grandparents, Luz Rosario, Carmelo Torres, Elena Amézaga, and Santiago Domínguez.

Family and friends meant everything to Juan. He treasured the laughter, stories, gatherings, and memories shared with his relatives and loved ones. He was a cherished nephew, cousin, uncle, and friend who was always willing to lend a helping hand. His loyalty and generosity touched the lives of many, and those who knew him will remember the way he made people feel welcomed, valued, and cared for.

In his professional life, Juan was a dedicated machine operator at Lamson Products in Westfield, Massachusetts. He took pride in his work, and his coworkers were more than colleagues—they were part of his extended family. His hardworking nature, respectful demeanor, and personable spirit made him a valued and cherished member of the Lamson Products community.

Outside of work, Juan enjoyed staying active and keeping his hands busy. He loved going to the gym, working on cars, fixing things, learning random facts, and sharing his knowledge with others. He had an immense love for horses, which he shared with loved ones. He was also an excellent cook, and many will remember the delicious meals he prepared and the warmth they brought to his home.

Juan was not perfect, but he was genuine and real. He faced struggles, made mistakes, and continued moving forward. He believed in family, loyalty, hard work, and helping others whenever he could. He also believed that laughter could make even the hardest days a little easier.

Although Juan is no longer with us in person, his spirit lives on through his children, his family, his friends, and the countless lives he touched. His memory will continue through the stories we share, the memories created, the laughs remembered, the meals he prepared, the lessons he taught us, and the love he gave all us so freely.

Please join us in celebrating Juan’s life by sharing your favorite memories, stories, and photographs on his memorial page. Every memory is a reminder that Juan was here, that he was loved, and that his life mattered.

May Juan be remembered not only with sadness, but with laughter, gratitude, and love.

Until we meet again, you filthy animals!
