Jose D. Velazquez

Springfield- Jose D. Velazquez, 96, passed away on Wednesday, January 8. Jose was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico on June 4th to the late Esteban Velazquez and Matea Diaz. He was predeceased by his wife, Maria Torres. He leaves to cherish his memory: his son, Jose Velazquez, Jr., and his 2 daughters, Maria and Carmen. He will be greatly missed. The Calling Hours will be held on Sunday, January 12, from 2 - 4 p.m. at Puerta Del Cielo(r) Funeral Home, 730 State St. The Burial will be on Wednesday, January 15, at 12 p.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery.
