Jose Luis Lebron

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our beloved Jose Luis Lebron, who departed on January 30, 2024. He was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, on October 26, 1964.

Jose is survived by his loving mother, Ines Rodriguez, stepfather Hipolito Reyes, devoted brothers Osvaldo R. Lebron, Miguel A. Quinones, Jorge Quinones, and sisters Odette Lebron, Annette Quinones, Niurka N. Quinones, and Bianca Quinones. He is also survived by three stepchildren and 18 nieces and nephews who will continue to honor his memory. He was preceded in death by his father, Eduardo Lebron, his brother, Eduardo Lebron, and his nephew, Eric J. Nieves.

Jose had a remarkable spirit that radiated joy and positivity. Always sporting a beaming smile, he had a special way of bringing happiness to those around him. Whether spending time with his nieces and nephews, giving his full attention to children and animals, or simply telling jokes to lighten the mood, Jose had a natural gift for spreading love and laughter.

As a stepfather, Jose embraced his role with immense love and devotion. His nurturing nature extended to being a fantastic dad and an exceptional caregiver. The generosity he showed, the care he offered, and the love he shared made him an integral part of their lives.

Jose’s infectious smile, warm heart, and unwavering kindness touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him. Today, we come together to celebrate his beautiful soul and the countless memories that will forever live on in our hearts.

A viewing for Jose will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM., at Puerta Del Cielo® Funeral Home, 730 State Street, Springfield, Massachusetts, 01109. His burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery of Springfield, 426 Bay Street, Springfield, Massachusetts, 01109. It is a time to remember and celebrate Jose's life and the joy he brought into our lives.
