Jose Antonio DelValle, Jr.

Jose Antonio DelValle, 64 of Springfield was called home suddenly on October 13, 2026. Born in Fort Lauderdale , FL to the late Antonio and Rosa Esther(García) DelValle he grew up in the Fort Lauderdale / Hollywood area of South Florida before settling in Springfield, MA.

Jose was a long time employee of Primo's Pizza in Springfield until their closure. He also worked as a van driver for AMR, where he received a commendation for extinguishing a fire at a rollover accident and helping to save the occupant.

Jose leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Ana F. DelValle Sánchez, his daughter's Janetcey and Rosa Esther of Florida, a son Jose Angel of Springfield, two stepson's Oscar Coste and Luis Alvarado both of Springfield. He also leaves three sister's Ana I. Perez and husband Rey of Springfield, Nellie Stucenski and husband Stan of Westfield and, Evelyn Roulhac and husband James of Buffalo, NY, three brother's Raymond A. DelValle of Agawam, Jose M. DelValle of Springfield and, Raymond Rodriguez and partner Raquel of San Diego, CA. and 9 grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister Miriam E. Perez and a brother Carlos A. Rodriguez. He also leaves behind his loving nieces and nephews, cousins, and extended family.

Jose will be remembered for his infectious smile, laughter, and jokes but most of all for the love he had for his family. Calling hours will be Friday October 16, 2026 from 5-7pm at Puerta Del Cielo® Funeral Home, 730 State Street, Springfield, MA.
