Hector Melendez, 50, passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2019. Hector was born in Holyoke, Massachusetts on July 31, 1968, to Bernardino De Leon Melendez and Lucia M. Bonilla Negron. Hector was predeceased by his Father and sister, Lizbett M. Melendez Bonilla. Hector was very much loved by his family of which he leaves to cherish his life and memory. His wife and life partner: Maria Pagan, Daughters: Coralie Lugo and Marlin Melendez, Sons: Joshua and Daniel Dufresne, Brothers: Edwin Melendez Bonilla and Arnaldo Melendez, Sisters: Noemi De Leon Bonilla and Marisol E. Gonzalez Melendez Bonilla, Four Grandchildren, Nephews, Nieces, and a long list of family and friends. Funeral services will be held at Puerta Del Cielo Funeral Home, 730 State Street, Springfield, MA 01109 Calling hours: Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a second service on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 9:00 am to 10:00 am thereby following with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery.
