Eva Laura Mas

With heartfelt sorrow, we announce the passing of Eva Laura Mas, who left us on September 28, 2026. Born on October 26, 1958, in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, Eva was a vibrant and charismatic soul whose light shone brightly on all those fortunate enough to cross her path. Her spirit was as colorful as the island from which she hailed, full of life, laughter, and love. As Maya Angelou once said, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Eva was a living embodiment of this quote, touching lives and hearts with her warmth, kindness, and generosity of spirit.

Eva was a devoted mother, a loving grandmother, and a beloved sister. She was the rock, the cheerleader, the glue that held her family together. Her thoughtful nature and unwavering care were cornerstones of her character. Eva's love for her family was only matched by her love for music and dance. She was the life of every gathering, always seeking to unite friends and family in joyous celebration. As an outreach worker for Enlace De Familia, she extended her nurturing spirit to the wider community, displaying a dedication and passion that was evident to all. Her smart, intuitive mind, coupled with her endless compassion, made a significant impact on those she served.

Eva is survived by her children, Lydiana Robles, Alexander Martinez, Ricardo Robles, Reynaldo Robles, and Jayson Martinez; her grandchildren, Diaraliz Rivera, Osviel Gomez, Dariel Gomez, Eliani Robles, Yadian Martinez, Ricardo Jr, Cataleya Robles, Isaac Robles, Alanis Martinez, and Jayson Jr; and her siblings, Migdalia Mas, Carmen Mas, and Ruth Mas. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and loved ones who will cherish her memory. Eva was preceded in death by her father, Rafael Mas, and mother, Carmen Lydia Cruz.

A viewing for Eva will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at the Puerta Del Cielo® Funeral Home, 730 State Street, Springfield, Massachusetts. Interment will follow at 11:30 AM, at the Oak Grove Cemetery of Springfield Inc., 426 Bay Street, Springfield, Massachusetts.
