He was born on June 1, 2000, in Springfield, the beloved child of Father Alberto Arroyo and Mother Joanne Arroyo Rivera. Elian brought joy and happiness to the lives of those who knew him. Elian had a passion for softball and found great joy on the field. His dedication and talent were evident to all. His favorite number, 34, symbolized his determination and commitment to the game. Elian was also an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, cheering for his favorite team with unwavering loyalty. He will be deeply missed by his loving Mother and Father Alberto and Joanne Arroyo, a sister; Queana Ortiz, a brother; Nazhawn Santiago, his companion; Jessica Cruz and his expecting daughter Eliana Ava Arroyo who were all a significant part of his life. Elian's presence brought warmth and laughter to their days, and the void left by his departure will be felt profoundly. Friends, family, and loved ones are invited to pay their respects at the visitation hours, which will be held on Friday, July 7th, 2023, at Puerto del Cielo Funeral Home 730 State St. Springfield, Ma from 9:00am to 11:00am.
