Springfield- Confesor Santiago, 86, passed away on Sat., Nov. 13, at home. He leaves his wife, Monserrate Rodriguez; a son, Juan Rafael Sanitago; 5 daughters, Maria P. Santiago, Ramona Santiago, Carmen M. Santiago, Martina Guerrero and Juana M. Santiago; 2 brothers, Alberto and Pedro Santiago; 6 sisters, Hilda, Flor, Lucy, Carmen, Carmen and Carmen Santiago; 2 sons-in-law, Evelio Velez, Jesus Alicea, Angel Mojica and Pablo Guerrero; and a daughter-in-law, Brenda Conde. He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren, Mary Ivelis Irrizarry, Edwin Irrizarry, Edmil Irrizarry, Evelio Velez, Jr., Gianina Velez, Abimael Jesus Alicea, Aimelis Alicea, Joseph Del Rio, Jeffrey Del Rio, Sabrina Rust, Samantha Rust, Sarina Rust, Johny Santiago and Tiffany Santiago; and his 4 great grandchildren, Felix Alexander Colon, Ariana Colon, Jasmine Irrizary, and Edwin Manuel Irrizary. He also leaves his grandchildren-in-law, Felix Colon, Samantha Kane-Alicea and Amanda Leah Velez. He will be greatly missed. The Funeral Services will be held on Thurs., Nov. 18, from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. at Puerta Del Cielo(r) Funeral Home, 730 State St., Springfield, followed by a Mass at Blessed Sacrament at 10 a.m. The Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. The Calling Hours will be held on Wed., Nov. 17, from 6 - 8 p.m.
