Celestina Rivera Obituary (1934

Springfield- Celestina Rivera, 78, passed away on Fri., Feb 1, at Chapin Center. Celestina was an employee of Digital Equipment for over 20 years. Celestina was predeceased by her husband, Saturnino Rivera. She is survived by: her 2 daughters, Elida Abreu and Ileana Fuentes; her niece whom she raised and loved as her own, Wilma Vargas; 2 brothers, Faustino Perez and Guillermo Perez;; and 2 sisters, Maria Felix and Monserate Torres. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren: Jessica Vegerano, Elisette Abreu, Shailee Rivera, Johnathan Carrasquillo, Alex Fuentes, Nicole Fuentes, Jasmine Rivera and Taliah Wilson; and 11 great grandchildren: Dannie Rene Vegerano, Xavier D. Vegerano, Damian Gonzalez, Isaac Burgos, Aiden Burgos, Jael Hernandez, Jacov Hernandez, Gavin Martinez, Cameron Ramos, Caroline Fuentes, and Devin Fuentes. She will be greatly missed. The Funeral Services will be held on Tues., Feb. 5, from 9 - 10 a.m. at North End Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 130 Carew St., followed by Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Mon., Feb. 4, from 6 - 8 p.m. at 130 Carew St.
