Carmelo Morales

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Carmelo Morales, who left us too soon on January 24, 2026. Born on August 20, 1952, in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico, Carmelo's life journey led him to Springfield, Massachusetts, where he was a reliable beacon of love and compassion.

Carmelo was a man of generous spirit and unwavering commitment. Known for his unconditional love, Carmelo held his family as his greatest treasure. He is survived by his loving wife, Aida Morales, his children, and a host of family and friends. His parents, Dolores Morales and Saturnina Oquendo, preceded him in death.

The viewing for Carmelo will be held at the Puerta Del Cielo® Funeral Home, 730 State Street, Springfield, Massachusetts, on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. His interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery of Springfield Inc., 426 Bay Street, Springfield, Massachusetts.
