Albun Andre "Whitie" Alphonso Obituary (1946 - 2013)

Springfield- Albun Andre "Whitie" Alphonso was born June 23, 1946 in San Fernando, Trinidad to Inocenio and Nora Alphonso. He was employed at Baystate Health System in Springfield, MA for 10 years. For man, Death comes in all seasons and in all ages. Often he sends the summons before but gloats unseen on the breeze. Death comes without reckless footsteps to all. Thus it came on December 26, 2013 to Albun A. Alphonso. He will certainly be missed. May he rest in peace. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife Salima Alphonso and two children (and spouse): Albelino Alphonso of Middleton, CT and Anastasia Alphonso-Okyere (Samuel) of Westfield, MA. Two grandchildren: Benedicta and Victoria. Albun is also survived by 6 siblings (and spouses): Rosita Alphonso and Vincent (Wendy) Alphonso both of New York, Theresa Boodo, Linda Alphonso, Raymond (Marcia) Alphonso and Kelvin (Betty) Alphonso all of Trinidad and sister-in-law Marina Alphonso. His parents Inocenio and Nora, and brother Ignatius Alphonso preceded him in death. He also leaves 16 nieces and nephews, 17 great nieces and nephews and 2 great great nieces and nephews. Even though the above-mentioned are true blood; he had many friends that he considered family.
